Could the title be any better?

We are getting ready for the bigger picture. But are we reading what we are missing?

No matter what people say, Science will always be a boon. Science is more than just the art of doing things with a specific set of instructions and parameters and calculations and inferences and theories. It is simplifying living yet multiplying it with such enormous multitudes that we are able to look beyond our existence.

April 2016 has been a very crucial month for facebook. Login to facebook.com into your profile and they have promised to change your world beyond the existence of human beings. Being in virtual world, meeting your friends there from different continents in 3D at places you have never been to with the ability to change your look or watch photos in 360 degrees with the ability to click selfie is almost surpassing the thinking capacity of a normal individual.

Not only this, Mark Zuckerberg has also planned something for the outer space. What?

Mark Zuckerberg will be joining Yuri Milner and Stephen Hawking for a space initiative that will explore other stars located away from the planets of our reach for the first time in human history!

Yes, beat that!

Doors that lead to newer world are being opened every single day and the challenge is to accept and assimilate all that we can. And if it is true that we do not even use 10% of our intelligence and brain functionality, we wonder we could have been. Perhaps Gods of small things is not an understatement now!

But... Are we forgetting something here? A little humility like how they follow at all the leading organizations in the world. We may mock Mark Zuckerberg for wearing the same tee shirts and jeans but do any of us have even 1 unit capacity of doing what he has been up to in past few months, let alone years? We may and we do say that he has all the money to DO stuff but hasn't he been showing his other side of his life wherein he sits on a desk where most of his employees do? Did not he set an example by going on a leave for his daughter and reminding us that time does not need specific quality. All it needs is you. But are you listening?

The ones who build the phones and apps and webservices have all the work in the world yet what they exhibit is simplicity. And in our world, give man an apple phone and he will make sure that all his friends, relatives, colleagues, his colony, his whole social circle knows about it. What are we hinting at? Sheer stupidity.

We have kids who google their homework, who post their pouts loaded with lip colors while they are thirteen, who know no etiquettes to eat food and share the pics on instagram with all the hashtags. Teenagers are sexting while parents are busy mingling with little accomplishments and posing as perfect couples while all they do is interact on whatsapp. Yes, indeed these are made for communication but were in no way intended to replace the human touch and the soothing voices in real besides you with a book in a hand and coffee on the table.

What we have is precious. Increase it with technology. Don't roam around clicking selfies while your world lies in your hands.
