New place calling? Don’t be lazy and stick in. Go out and explore.

Education or work or at times even marriage makes you relocate to a new city or at times to a completely new country and if all you do is sit home in weekends, then no one is a bigger loser than you.

You have the opportunity, you have the time, you must utilize.

Obtain a map of the city you have moved in. We suggest that before you begin on the expedition, take a close look at all the places nearby you are going to visit and try to remember the names. if you have problem, you can jot down the same somewhere.

Yes, you have a phone but what if it is stolen or goes missing? You must have the whereabouts of yourself and a watch. This is the bare minimum requirement.

When you are new or on your own, you need to be up front.

Do not rely solely on google here. Ask your co workers or neighbors or room-mates and then go explore them yourself. Every city has a peculiar flavor of life, find that and begin to identify it and try to gel with the same.

Begin to notice the tiny bits of heritage that are always present across any city. The new doors of thoughts that are opened by them are so huge that they give you new insights into the history of mankind.

Eating is a pleasure which you must experience and enjoy. Fresh fruits, baked delicacies, main courses, desserts, specialties- you must not let them go.

Blend in with the natives. Of all the things you stop, never ever stop making new friends who help you, reach out to you and whom you can trust. It is very important that when you move into a new city you meet and greet new people who will eventually introduce you to their culture.

Do not limit yourself. Travel through the areas nearby and even far off the city you live in. Every travel story is a journey, an experience that you will never have again. Do not miss the opportunity. Reach out the even the remote places that offer nothing but the joy of living.

When you move to a new place, the whole affair is enriching and connects with you deep. Some places you like, some you love and some you would not want to visit again. But why the heck not! You are given one life. Make the most of it.
