Monsoons!! Yay! But Omg; this smell!

We wait for the whole year so that the rains come again splashing newness, freshness, greenery and happiness.

But with them they bring some problems too. While common cold is one of them there are several others related to skin, food, clothes, feet, gadgets and so many else. Worry not Like always, we have a few hacks that will keep your happiness prolonged and your worries away while you enjoy some rains, pakoras (for yummy recipes click here ) and chai.

1. Smelly shoes? Bid goodbye

This is a common problem in rainy season. Shoes absorb moisture or become wet and start smelling bad. God that smell is almost killing.

Use fresh tea bags and put them inside the shoes that have been smelling bad. You will notice the difference very next morning. This is perhaps the easiest hack ever.

2. Gadgets getting wet? Not anymore

Always carry a zip lock plastic bag or any other plastic bag that can be zipped or locked. As soon as you have to step outside from office or college or your home, pout in all your gadgets in it and secure them with the zip. Thus, not only you save your gadgets, you also save them from pick pocketing.

3. Acnes? Don't pinch them

Use neem mask instead. Use neem products- face wash and essential oil.

The mask made at home will be the best for sure and in case you cannot make one, use herbal formulations that are in abundance in market.

Buy essential oils only from the bands that you trust.

4. Your favorite cookies absorbed moisture? No way

Re- heat them in a microwave for a few minutes and if that is a no- no for you, use the tawa or the griddle and lay the cookies on it and heat.

Remove after a few minutes and now enjoy even more delicious and warm cookies.

5. Smelly clothes..Smelllllllly clothes.. Not now anymore!

Lets admit it. Clothes do smell very weird and soggy during rains. After all there is no sun. What can someone do?

Well, don't panic. Add some antiseptic solution in to the washing machine while washing clothes and it will be more than wow. This is killing two birds with one stone! One- you got rid of the smell; second- infections bye bye!

Another tried and tested hack: Have any unused shampoo? Wash your clothes in it and thank us later.

6. Make up? Go waterproof

No science needed here. In the rainy season, only use waterproof make up and say no to any stay on hair products that you might have been using.

7. Handwash? Paper soap gets soaked? Move on

Rains might not wet your legs but will reach the most tiny winy space where something important is kept.

How may times you wished you had your own hand wash stuff? The liquid and soap are not feasible to be carried. Paper soap is soaked. So?

Carry little tubes of face wash. They are light weight, have firm grip on their covers and no affect of rains. Yay!
