9 Ramzan dishes that you must eat

Festivity, brotherhood and love everywhere. That is Ramzan for you.

As the holy month of Ramzan begins, a new wave of excitement is seen everywhere. Day long fast coupled with honesty towards work is not only commendable but wonderful as well. And as the Roza ends, the aroma of wonderful food and delicacies fills the air. Homecooked food that is not only rich in ingredients, fresh fruits, juices and shakes that provide energy, cooling curds preparation and mouth watering desserts! We are already drooling!

Check out a few dishes that you MUST have in the Ramzan times as the taste during this time is completely out of the world.

1. Haleem

Haleem is originally a stew composing of meat, lentils, pounded wheat and allowed to cook in ghee or clarified butter for a long long time. The result? Yummilicious and amazing thick curry that is relished by one and all. It is considered almost addictive. Hyderabad is the best place to have Haleem. Not only that, a few special restaurants in the city export it to gulf countries. Such is the compelling love for the dish!

Mouth watering, mouth melting and mouth relishing! These are the words that can be used to describe Nalli Nihari. It is a stew cooked with meat and amazingly flavorful spices that make the dish so rich that you would want to really kiss the hands of the chef! Nihari originates from the Arabic word 'Nahar' which means day. This dish was served to the Royals after their morning prayers. What a way to start the day! We are envious!

How can rice and meat and few spices make everything beyond imaginable! We are at a loss for words and already ordering this one!

Legend says that the Awadh Nawab was so extremely fond of food that even after he lost his teeth, he ordered his cook to make such kebabs that would melt in his mouth. And so the cook obeyed his orders and came up with this version of kebabs. The kebabs are so good that you actually cannot just eat one! You need a whole platter.

If there is a dessert that tastes like heavens, it is Falooda Kulfi. The best ever. What else to cool you down after a day long fast and scorching heat this year! Phew! This is dream worthy dessert and a must must try
