Mallya offered to pay Rs 2,000 crore now and left over Rs 2,000 crore by September 31, 2016.
His counsel C S Vaidyanathan, made the offer in the Supreme Court today.
But whether Mallya intended to return to India from London or not remained unanswered by C S Vaidyanathan.

The SC solicited the consortium of banks to react within a week's time to Mallya's proposal and posted the subject for hearing on 7th April.
